Colorful calendar for vtiger CRM
Just a short post to point out that is available through the work of some members of the community of vtiger CRM vtiger version 5.0.4 with a patch that allows you to have a calendar in the management of diverse colors for individual users.
The patch had a small flaw in the script that modifies the database, which we corrected and published in the thread on the forum vtiger.com
In the future maybe will release a version a bit 'less complex to install and with some instruction in Italian. For now, for those interested / or, here's the link to the right post on the forums vtiger.com: this one

"Business, IT and economic crisis": a conference
Wednesday, December 3, Synthesis Studio is organizing a day meeting with clients, partners and prospects, titled "BUSINESS, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND ECONOMIC CRISIS." The event will consist of two separate parts, and complementary.
The morning session will be devoted to "bespoke software solutions, low cost, thanks all'opensource", while in the afternoon the focus of the conference will move to the proposed study area in Synthesis of "open source business intelligence tools."
Lunch, buffet, and the report of Professor Brentari "What do you know of a cornfield? The economic crisis and the companies "will be the hinge between the two parts of the day.
Vtiger vtlib 2.0 released
For those who follow closely the development of vtiger CRM, as well as the continuous (and every time ... amazing +) changes to the new version - 5.1 (Expected Release Date: Spring 2009) - there are also good news regarding the development tools.
The vtlib - the new tool to create forms for vtiger - came to 2.0 release - announced today. From this release, the modules created can be related to other pre-existing modules in the system.

Service Pack for vtiger CRM 5.0.4
The development team of vtiger CRM today released a cumulative patch - a sort of Service Pack - for vtiger CRM version 5.0.4

Pentaho Training Day
Synthesis Studio is pleased to announce the First Pentaho Training Day Italian. The training day will take place Monday, November 17 at the headquarters of Study Synthesis (Via Matteotti 37, Gardone VT - Brescia).
The Training Day is divided into two modules of 3 hours and 30 'each. The first module will focus on an introduction to the subject overview Business Intelligence, with special focus on OLAP tools. The second module will go into the specifics of hand tools for the Pentaho BI Suite offered by, with particular attention to components for ETL.

October has been so intense that we do not find nearly the time for keeping the company blog.
To summarize some of the news concerning the presence of Synthesis Study on the Web:
- A new version is online, completely renewed, our corporate website
- Also this blog has acquired a new domain (the traditional studiosynthesis.wordpress.com was given a nice www.synthesisblog.com (and there are new graphics coming soon)
- We spent a long time - and we have removed the pleasant satisfaction - to manage, Brentari with professor and students in his class of systems for CRM (Faculty of Economics, UNIBS), www.corsodicrm.org , a blog theme, the CRM, always hosted here at WP. Almost 200 posts in 40 days. Whoa.
- we will soon be online with our vertical portals on CRM solutions (based on vtiger) and BI (based on Pentaho)
We obviously worked a lot even off the web. We like to remember:
- The three seminars organized together with the Department of Quantitative Methods, University of Brescia,
- formalizing the partnership with the Belgian company Kjube for the realization of projects of open source Business Intelligence,
- the adaptation of numerous companies to legislation on occupational safety (81/2008)
- participation ConnectingDay of Verona,
- the creation of websites for prestigious clients (including Gexcel Ltd.).

More sensational news from Vtiger 5.1
Version 5.1 of vtigerCRM tarry a while ', compared with forecasts, but will contain more news of the highest. Broke the news Friday, October 3 Kanumuru Sreenivas, vice president of Vtiger, via a blog post on the company.
